David and Leah originally met in Orange, Virginia in 2016 and now reside in Eloy, Arizona with their dog, Navi. The two spend most of the year in Arizona doing contract parachute rigging, design work, and professional and fun skydiving but travel across the country often throughout the year for production/design work gigs, free-fly load organizing, and adventures.

Flying Pig Studios excels in the industries of skydiving, outdoor, and creative communities because we feel the most at home when we’re expressing ourselves in the form of non-stop adventures and experiences.

David Cherry is a professional in the skydiving industry as a production freefall & ground videographer & photographer, load organizer, state record holder, FAA senior rigger, and designer.

With over 4,500+ jumps in 11 years, David has worked with the United States Parachute Association as graphic designer, published photographer, and contracted Nationals Competition Photographer. David has shot in air and ground videography for Highlight Pro Skydiving Team, Performance Designs, Flight-1, Cleared Hot, and many more top tier manufacturers, dropzones and teams including cinematic RED footage for 418 Films. David has had shot pieces featured in the Smithsonian Channel, New York Times, and various news outlets and magazine publications.

David specializes in event and freefalll/ground photography/videography production and post editing.

Leah Levy is a professional industrial and graphic designer, as well as the founder of Levity.

With over 1,800 skydives, a tandem rating, and a world record, Leah also works in the industry as a load organizer, FAA Senior Rigger, and civilian contractor for military skydiving operations. Leah has interned and worked with the leading manufacturers and drop zones in research and development, graphic design, and branding and marketing. Leah has been a vendor and presenter at the Parachute Industry Association Symposium speaking on sustainability in skydiving. She currently works as a contracting designer with United Parachute Technologies, Beyond Marketing, and freelance for many other large and small businesses across various industries.

Leah’s specialities are digital and print design, custom illustrations, as well as sewing construction and manufacturing.
